Pakistani lawyer Murdered in Peshawar High Court

A prominent lawyer Abdul Latif Afridi got killed in Peshawar High Court Bar room, a gunman entered the high court bar room and opened a fire on lawyer, and the firing was intense causing him dead at the spot.

A police officer surveys the crime scene after the incident, saying the murdered was planned and seem to be personal rivalry of lawyer. The police department is investigating the case and will arrest the culprits soon.

Boycott of Peshawar courts

The President of Peshawar Bar Association Ali Zaman announced the two day boycott of all the courts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The culprit arrested at the spot was also a trainee lawyer, Mr Adnan.

According to FIR, late Mr Abdul Latif Afridi was sitting in a bar room when Mr Adnan, a trainee lawyer came and opened fire against him. Six bullets were fired on him. The senior lawyer Abdul Latif Afridi was shifted to Lady reading Hospital immediately but he was found dead before reaching the hospital.

The murderer Adnan was arrested at the spot and shifted to anti- terrorism court under high security. The Police are investing on fact that how Mr Adnan managed to bring pistol inside the premises of court.

The Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef paid his condolences to deceased’s family saying that he was a key figure in law department and forefront lawyer in Pakistan, this increasing crime situation is KPK is alarming and a threat to security of Pakistan.

The Died Lawyer Abdul Latif Afridi was a famous lawyer who also participated in Lawyer’s movement in Pakistan for restoration of former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chohdary.
