EX-CM Punjab Elahi’s house raided

Ex-CM Punjab Chohdary Pervez Elahi’s house is raided by police in Gujrat. The former CM confirmed that raid and told media that police barged into living place by using a ladder and harassed the employees working in house. The police detained the security guards and searched the whole house. The police yet not confirmed the raid.

The ex-CM told media that they have not got any notification of raid and going to file a case against this brutal raid and harassment of their employees. Punjab’s anti-corruption wing also registered a case against CM’s principal secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti for taking bribes.

FIR by Anti-corruption wing

According to FIR registered by Anti-Corruption department, Bhatti is accused of taking 460 million of bribe from different officials. The Anti-corruption department started searching for principal secretary to arrest him in bribery case.

The FIR detailed that Mr. Iqbal took bribes from people to give them posts of their desire. Yesterday, the gunman and driver of ex-CM also got arrested for carrying liquor bottles in car. Police told media that Faheem Mirza gave envelope full of money in exchange of liquor bottles on instructions given by ex-CM Punjab Pervez Elahi.

The arrested person also revealed that Faheem Mirza is clos person of Ex CM Punjab Pervez Elahi and he is involved in secret trade also. A case against driver and gunman of CM has been registered at Islamabad Secretariat police station.

All these cases started right after the joining of caretaker CM Punjab, Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi. He also transferred some of the important officials including CCPO Lahore. The PDM is still not agreed on elections in country while the opposition parties announced country wide protest if there would not any election campaigns.

All thee political conflicts are worsening the financial situation of country and making the country’s security at risk.
