Twitter CEO, Elon Musk who is also the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, stated on the microblogging website that getting Twitter blue is the only way to allow real accounts to take part in Twitter voting and other events.
Elon Msuk also explained that those who are subscribers of Blue tick on Twitter would be able to appear in For You recommendations of other users. “For You” feed will suggest tweets from other users who are not in following list.

Rules implementation from 15th April
The implementation of new rules on Twitter will be starting from 15th April, it would allow only verified accounts to be in For You recommendations. This will protect data and privacy of users from any kind of attacks.
Recently, a lot of AI bots are trying to take over Twitter accounts and participate in voting, the blue Tick regulations will also protect data from any threats. He added that It is okay to allow AI bots for voting unless they do not impersonate humans and follow terms of service.
This Blue Tick announcement from CEO of Twitter grab the attention of many users. One of the user said that he could not support it and Musk needs to put some money for protection from AI bots.
This policy could tarnish the platform, one of the user shared his view to which Elon Musk replied that, “My prediction is that this will be the only platform you can trust”.
One of the other user wrote that, “If you cannot afford to pay on Twitter, your voice cannot be amplified in the Town Square?”. Another user said that how the blue tick will be able to protect accounts from bot attacks. It would just make the accounts more visible to attack.

Before the takeover of Elon Musk, Twitter used to give Blue tick for famous users and celebrities with notable personalities and having a great number of followers but after the surcharge of billionaire, blue tick and many other services of Tiktok are paid now.
The Twitter Blue Tick service is available on $8 for web users, $84 for iOS and Android users would pay $11 per month for the service.
