India invited Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial to attend conference of foreign ministers and chief justices which is going to be held in Goa in May this year. As the invitation has been sent during Shanghai Cooperation organization meeting, Pakistan will respond to it with consultation of Beijing.
Pakistan had earlier decided to not to participate in film festival held in Mumbai, it was third SCO film festival hosted by India in which all the nations participated except Pakistan. Pakistan yet not responded to invitation but if it is accepted, this will be the FM’s first visit to India over a decade.

Shabaz Shareef’s offer for negotiation
In a recent visit to UAE, Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef requested UAE President to help in solving Pakistan India conflict, after which in an interview with Arab TV channel, the Prime Minister of Pakistan also offered first hand negotiation to Indian officials for solving the conflict. He said that, “we have had three wars with India and none of them resulted in peace, all of it brought misery, poverty, and human lives loss”.
However, the foreign Minister of Pakistan made strict remarks about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him the “butcher of Gujrat”. He also said that India is responsible for increasing terrorist attacks in Pakistan. The last Foreign Minister who visited India was Hina Rabbani Khar in 2011. After that, Pakistan and India possessed harsh relationship because of Kashmir issue.

The SCO currently has eight members, China, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The SCO conference held which is attended by foreign ministers of every country. This year conference is expected to hold in India, which Pakistan has not yet decided to attend or not.
