Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United
Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United claims that Erik ten Hag, the team’s manager, has deceived him and that he is being forced out of the club.
In August 2021, Ronaldo signed a two-year contract to return to United from Juventus for a second stint at Old Trafford. He was going back to the team where he won eight major championships from 2003 to 2009.
Interview With Piers Morgan
Ronaldo was questioned about if United’s administration was attempting to get rid of him in an interview with Piers Morgan for TalkTV that was released on Sunday.
“Yes, there are a few other guys around the club as well, in addition to the coach (Ten Hag). I felt abandoned,” he admitted.
“Yes, I feel betrayed, and I sensed last year as well that some people didn’t want me here.”
When Ronaldo strolled down the tunnel with a few minutes left in the game after being left on the bench against Tottenham Hotspur last month, according to Ten Hag, the forward refused to be brought on as a substitute.
The team that played Chelsea the following Saturday did not have him on it at that point.
‘No Regards For Ten Hag’
“I don’t have regard for him because he doesn’t show respect for me,” the 37-year-old attacker, who will lead Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar, said of Ten Hag. I won’t ever have respect for you if you don’t have respect for me.
Upon being contacted by Reuters for comment, United did not answer right away.

Team disbelieved Ronaldo
When his daughter was admitted to the hospital in July, Ronaldo claimed Manchester United did not stand by him. When he was late for preseason practise, he said the team disbelieved him and lacked compassion.
“I want the best for the club. I think the supporters should know the truth. I came to Manchester United for this reason. A club with this dimension should, in my opinion, be at the top of the tree, but they aren’t, regrettably. But there are some factors within that don’t help (us) achieve the top level like City, Liverpool, and even now Arsenal.”
Cristiano Ronaldo Lauds Alex Ferguson
Ronaldo’s first stint was under Alex Ferguson, a former United manager who retired in 2013. The Portuguese claimed that Ferguson shared his opinion of the team.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson went, there has been no improvement at all, in my opinion. Ronaldo stated that nothing had changed.
“He is the best person at knowing that the club is not headed in the right direction. Everyone is aware. People who refuse to see are blind because they do not want to see.”
Ronaldo also disagreed with the club’s choice to choose Ralf Rangnick as manager in place of his former teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season.
Director of Sport and Development
Rangnick took over at Old Trafford after leaving his position as director of sport and development at the Lokomotiv Moscow soccer team in Russia.
Nobody knows why the club hired sporting director Ralf Rangnick after firing Ole, according to Ronaldo.
“He’s not even a coach, this man. It startled not only me but the entire world that a major club like Manchester United would hire a sporting director.”
