Last year Ranbir Kapoor talked about working in Pakistan. After lyricist Javed Akhtar’s recent comments about Pakistan, people started asking the heartthrob actor Ranbir Kapoor about his statement of last year about working in Pakistan. To which the gorgeous hero replied that I don’t want any type of controversy, my statement about working in Pakistan is still same.
Last year he said that, Arts and entertainment has no borders, I would love to work in neighbor country’s project if the story is worth telling. My statement is now misconstrued, at a recent promotional event he said that he don’t want to make a controversial statement. He said that working in Pakistan depends on nature of work if its good everyone would love to do it.

The Barfi actor added that, “It was not a big controversy. But for me, films are films, and art is art. I have worked with Fawad in Ae Dil hy Mushkil. I have known a lot of Pakistani artists, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Atif Aslam are such great singers. So Cinema is Cinema, I don’t think Cinema sees boundaries”.
While he further added that, Art is Art but it is not big than your country. If anyone has to choose between art and country, first priority should be the country without any second thought. The Sanju actor also congratulated Pakistani film industry on making block buster movies recently. He also added that he is a fan of popular Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, when he sings, its like a hero’s singing.

Recent projects of Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on promotional events of his romantic comedy, Tu Jhooti Main Makkar, starring Sharaddha Kapoor. The actor was also featured as one of the options for India’s Cricket legend Saurav Ganguly Biopic. Ranbir Kapoor also talked about being a part of Kishore Kumar’s biopic.
During the conversation, the actor also talked about his newborn daughter Raha, saying that she just started smiling two weeks back and this is giving me a new understanding of love. I miss her a lot on my trips, it is just giving me a new life when I see her smiling, I cant describe this love, he added.
