The Tehreek E Taliban member and mastermind of Rawalpindi car blast was killed in firing by Counter Terrorist Department (CTD). The killed member of Tehreek Taliban is identified as Irfan Ullah son of Kemya Gul who is resident of District Kurram. It is confirmed that dead terrorist was, member of Tehreek E Taliban and involved in planning of Rawalpindi car blast.
According to CTD report, they got information on terrorist group that are involved in many terrorist attacks including the attack on Law Enforcement agencies. The operation against the terrorist group is carried out on immediate basis in Khanewal which resulted in killing of terrorists.

The CTD team attacked the terrorist group on information that they are planning for more dangerous terrorists attacks. The terrorists groups started firing on CTD team and through proper self-defense CTD team managed to kill the terrorists. The firing exchange between terrorist group and CTD continued for 20 minutes.
After searching the terrorist occupied area, one dead body is found which is killed by own firing, three terrorists managed to run away from the crime scene.
CTD raid in different cities
Counter Terrorist Departments is conducting raids in different cities of Punjab and KPK because according to the information gained, there is high alert warning of terrorist activities in country.
The counter terrorism department upon attacking in Khanewal recovered latest grenade, flag of TTP, Kalashnikov and suicide jackets. This showed that terrorists groups are planning more attacks. The security forces of Pakistan are working hard to arrest all the terrorist groups in country.

Another search operation was also conducted in Multan by Counter Terrorist Department Multan. Terrorists managed to escape the crime location but a case has been registered against the escaped terrorists and operations are being conducted to arrest them on immediate basis.
