Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested from Islamabad High court where he was present to seek bail in multiple FIRs registered against him. He was arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
He was taken into custody in Al-Qadir Trust case and taken into black vigo by the law enforcement agency. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad confirmed the arrest saying the situation is under control.

The chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf was going for biometric verification at Islamabad High Court when he was taken into custody.
Notice by Islamabad High Court
Following the unannounced arrest, Islamabad High Court took notice and summoned the Interior Secretary and Islamabad IG within 15 minutes to give reason on the matter.
The court also directed the additional attorney to appear in court within 15 minutes and find out who was behind the arrest. The Chief Justice said, action will also be taken against the Prime Minister and Ministers.

The Islamabad Advocate General asked court to extend the time from 15 minutes to half an hour which was rejected by court and he was ordered to appear within 15 minutes.
