Minister of Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb claimed that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s political campaign is actually a malicious campaign against the state institutions and state leaders.
She said that the agenda of 9th May was being run by the foreign puppets and agents. All the steps were pre-planned and international propaganda was behind it.

She added that, “Vile, a cynical and despicable media campaign against national institutions is the result of evil-minded planning, which is highly condemnable”.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf wants bloodshed, disorder and chaos in the country which is not allowed from anyone who is a true patriot. She also added that, few YouTubers and vloggers were being paid to spread lies, conspiracy and their propaganda agenda.
The Information Minister added, “Foreign agents attacked government buildings and sensitive installation, including discreted martyrs’ memorials, burned ambulances, Radio Pakistan building, mosques and schools”
PM condemned Social Media Campaign
Earlier, Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef also condemned the actions taken by violators on 9 May. Now they all are running threat campaigns against COAS which do not fall within the realm of freedom of expression.
The Prime Minister also directed concerned authorities to take legal action against those involved in media campaigns inside the country and abroad.

He said, “Giving a clear message to 9th May planners, facilitators and handlers that conspiracy against Pakistan and its institutions will be crushed”.
