The Schedule of PSL-8 is expected to announce on coming Friday. This 2023 PSL is 8th successful T20 series in Pakistan. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will hold final meeting with PSL franchisers tomorrow.
As per the schedule, the inauguration ceremony of PSL will be staged in Multan. The news sources told that the matches of tournament are scheduled in four different cities, starting from February 13 and will end on March 19.
According to PCB schedule, matches will be played in Multan, Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. PCB news source also added that they are deciding to schedule one exhibition match in Quetta and Peshawar but this is not final yet.

The teams included in PSL 8 are Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad united, Karachi kings, Lahore Qalandar, Quetta gladiators and Multan sultans. The most successful team of PSL is Islamabad United as it has won 2 leagues.
Team players for PSL-8
1,000 local and foreign players are available to participate in PSL 8. Peshawar Zalmi has retained seven players and other 6 PSL teams retained their 8 players when the windows were closed for transfer and retention.
All the teams has three categories of platinum, diamond and gold, from which overseas players are added in platinum and diamond.
In squad of 16, teams picked five overseas players, and 18 foreign players. In the total, 517 foreign players and 491 Pakistani players are available for PSL-8.

The final selection of PSL-8 is yet to be announced by PCB. It is expected that the team selection will also be finalized till Friday. Whereas, the last winner of PSL-7 was Lahore Qalandar after defeating Multan Sultans by 42 runs at iconic Gaddafi Stadium.
