Three Policemen Martyred in Peshawar

In a terrorist attack, three policemen martyred in Peshawar last night. The terrorists attacked police station with grenades and snipers. According to SSP Peshawar, terrorists attacked police station from three sides which killed three policemen, including DSP and two soldiers.

The terrorists attacked Surband Police Station in the middle of night with snipers and hand grenades and during an exchange of gunfire between police and attackers, Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) got martyred.

The senior superintendent of Police operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi confirmed the attack and said that terrorists were carrying snipers with night vision goggles to see clearly in night. This shows that they are upgraded and have strong back.

The SSP reported that terrorists attacked with five hand grenades, from which only one grenade blew up, they managed to run away after the attack. The police force from another station immediately arrived as the attack was reported. The whole era is sealed by police forces and we are trying to arrest the attackers within 48 hours.

Increasing Terrorism in Pakistan

He further added that the terrorism rate in Pakistan, especially KPK is increasing from past few months. The police and other security forces are trying their best to prevent any type of terrorist activity.

According to Capital City Police Officer, the DSP Hussain rushed towards police station as he heard about the attack and as soon as he arrived police station he got sniper shot on his head and died at the spot. The other two Gunmen were already in the police station on night duty, Irshad and Jahanzaib also got sniper shot in their heads and bodies.

Peshawar police shifted their bodies to hospital for further investigation and searching all the surrounding areas to arrest the terrorists.
