In an incident in Islamabad, a young girl was raped by two armed men in F-9 Park, she was visiting the park along with her colleague where two armed men took them to forest and raped the girl at gunpoint. The Islamabad Police has still not traced the rapists, despite strong security all over the city. This shocking incident also put up a question mark on multi-billion safe city project.
Islamabad police said that we are currently interrogating the situation and the park administration is also under investigation. People who were present in the park at that time were also being investigated and real culprits will be arrested soon and brought to justice.

ICT spokesperson said that the gender protection unit is investigating the issue under CPO operations Sohail Zafar Chattha. He added that woman and colleague were at the park when two armed suspects showed up and held them hostage, after it they took them to forest, tortured and raped the girl. They even offered money to girl and asked them to stay silent.
FIR details
The attackers threatened the victim and said that they would call more friends and do not let them go. The victim registered the FIR in Margalla police station on February 2nd. According to FIR registered, the rapists told the girl that they should not be in the park at this hour and what her relationship with the boy is?
Police said that they are investigating all the CCTV footage from nearby areas and trying to identify the real identities of the culprits. The victim also underwent medical examination in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences. According to the medical report, a 24 year old victim has injury marks on her legs and face.

The incident got viral on social media and caught the attention of many people leaving them in shock. Netizens said that F-9 Park has become a no-go area, criminals are roaming freely to abuse and rob people at gunpoint.
According to police records, more than 35 incidents have been reported in one year, including rape, robbery and murder of manager of private food Delivery Company.
