Saudi Government took another step and allowed Umrah pilgrims to perform Islamic prayers by landing on any airport of Saudi Arabia. Before this step Umrah pilgrims of any other country were only allowed to land on Jeddah and Makkah airports.
Now Arabia has allowed passengers to travel through any airport within the kingdom, in this way people who go for Umrah can also visit other cities of Saudi Arabia. Civil Aviation Authority of Saudi Arabia issued a notification in the name of new facilities for Umrah Pilgrims that they can arrive and depart from any airport in kingdom. They also extended visa to 90 days for Umrah pilgrims.

The official authorities directed all the national and international airlines to strictly follow the rules and must cooperate with Umrah pilgrims to arrive and depart on all the scheduled flights. The authorities warned the airlines of strict action if they didn’t helped the pilgrims in taking flights.
Million Tourist vision 2030
Saudi Arabia also announced free four days transit stopover visa for all the passengers coming to Saudia from any country of the world. This decision was taken under the Kingdom’s million tourist vision 2030. In the notification officials mentioned that there was problems for stopover visas for passengers. Those who wanted a start over need to apply for another visa of 96-hour.

This recent decision will allow four days free visa for people who are coming for tourism, Umrah pilgrims, or any business tours. The great initiative taken by Saudi government will help boosting the tourism sector of country.
