Reclaim Rawalpindi Movement for Rawalpindi demands various news social and economic initiatives to make the city more secure and happy to live. To resolve the city’s problems prominent and political figure Sheikh Abdul Waheed talked abour developmemt initiatives.
Talking to media he said that discrimination of Rawalpindi city should be stop now, talking about lack of resources and socio-economic problems in the city. He added that Rawalpindi is under the pretext of lack of resources and facing continuous discrimination.

Implementation of Workable plan
He added that we are ready to provide all kinds of support and aid in implementing a workable plan for the success of city. He said that Rawalpindi should also be included in development plans just like Lahore. The problems of Rawalpindi should be taken seriously despite all political affiliations.
He further mentioned that Rawalpindi Sanwaro Movement is particularly to beautify the city on priority basis, it would break all the chains of deprivation and make city more successfull and developed one.
The media talk was attended by Chairman Rawalpindi Sanwaro Tehreek Syed Shahid Gillani, Chief Organizer Chohdary Khurshid Anwar, Women Wing Presideng Samina Shoaib and other senior officials.
Sheikh Abdul Waheed talked about twin cities in perspective of Facilities and development plans. He said that both the cities are called twin cities but there is huge difference when it comes to development and facilities. Despite the fact that Rawalpindi is capital of Potohar, it is ignored by everyone.
He further mentioned about packages based on BOT (Build Operate and Transfer) for all the development work in Rawalpindi. He said that provincial an federal governments should give priority to development of Rawalpindi.
The political interference should be eliminated from all the institutes and Rawalpindi development work should be managed by board of governors and Mayor after local government election. All the problems should be addressed and solved on street level.
