The Sharif-led government is planning to provide a good relief to People of Pakistan by decreasing the prices of petroleum, the relief is finally a good news for public who is facing record inflation.
According to details, the prices of petrol would fall down by Rs 10 per litre in the start of June 2023, as the main plan is to provide relief for masses before upcoming budget 2023-24. While taxes are likely to be imposed in upcoming budget.

Drop in Ex-Refinery Price
The price of petrol is expected to fall by Rs 10 per litre in line with the drop in Ex-refinery Price. Well, the final decision is yet to be made. Before the final budget release, Finance Committee and other officials will finalise the fall down in meeting with Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef.
Earlier this month, the government also slashed petrol prices by Rs 12 while the price of diesel was lowered by Rs 30. As the current economic condition of country is not very good, providing relief is just the need of time.
