Pakistan India in same group for Asia cup 2023

Pakistan India cricket teams are one of the famous teams in cricket world because of their interesting matches and fans celebrating their win at its best. Pakistan and India always played matches against each other on international grounds and do not played any home cricket series with each other because of conflicting political relations with each other.  

According to the Asian Cricket Council, Pakistan and India will play from same group in upcoming Asia cup 2023 in September. The first group will include Pakistan, India and one qualified team; the second group will include Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

Host country for Asia Cup 2023

While announcement of all pathway, and dates for Asia cup, the council entrusted Pakistan to host Asia cup but it has not been finalized yet, as India is not willing to come to Pakistan for cricket matches. The political situation of both the countries always disappoints cricket fans as everyone is waiting for home series between India and Pakistan.

Jai shah who is also the secretary of board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) announced the detailed pathway and planned structure for Asia cup 2023 in his post on twitter.

The women t20 Asia cup is also scheduled in June includes, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Hong Kong and UAE.  While announcing calendar of Asia cup 2023, the chairman jai shah said that Pakistan holds all the rights to host Asia cup 2023 but because of political conflicts, Indian team will maybe not agree on going to Pakistan. We are deciding the hosting country and will update it soon.
