Syed Mohsin Raza is appointed as caretaker CM Punjab by Election Commission of Pakistan, on his first day of appointment he removed CCPO Lahore, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, PTI’s blue eyed officer.
Mohsin Naqvi appointed Bilal Siddique Kamyana as new CCPO Lahore, a senior officer praised by PML-N and not liked by PTI as he crushed their long march in May last year.
Senior police officer seem to be close with PML-N and not on good terms with PTI. He made his first appointment in Punjab police in presence of Hamza Shahbaz.

PTI leadership complains with Police department
PTI leadership is never seem to be satisfied from police as they accuse the department of using force on PTI workers during Azadi March. After Pervez Elahi was appointed as CM Punjab, he replaced Bilal Siddique Kamyana with Ghulam Dogar and now caretaker CM again changed CCPO and appointed Kamyana.
Pervez Elahi also ordered action against the police workers who stopped the PTI people during Azadi march. Kamyana has been appointed for strict actions against PTI protest against election commission of Pakistan’s decision. A notification issued by General administration department wrote that Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, CCPO Lahore has been transferred on immediate effect.

Bilal Siddique Kamyana, the new CCPO Lahore also served as CPO Rawalpindi, RPO Faisalabad and DIG special protection unit. Right before his posting as CCPO Lahore, he was serving in intelligence bureau Lahore.
The federal government of Pakistan also appointed Dr Usman Anwar as Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab. Dr Anwar was performing IG Motorway police before his appointment as IGP Punjab. He is considered as honest and most professional officer of Pakistan police department.
