Earlier, the Supreme Court of Pakistan termed Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chief Imran Khan’s arrest ‘illegal’ after Chairman reached the Supreme Court after a three-member bench ordered authorities to produce him to court.

The Court directed Imran Khan to stay at the police lines as a guest not a prisoner before the proceedings in High Court. The court also ordered Police Chief to ensure proper security for former Prime Minister.
Imran Khan Arrest by NAB
Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested from Islamabad High court where he was present to seek bail in multiple FIRs registered against him. He was arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
He was taken into custody in Al-Qadir Trust case and taken into black vigo by the law enforcement agency. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad confirmed the arrest saying the situation is under control.

The chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf was going for biometric verification at Islamabad High Court when he was taken into custody.
