Hera Pheri 4 shooting was in delay from a long time due to different reasons. Finally a month ago, shooting of film started with same old cast and all the fans were excited to watch the sequel but another legal notice stopped all the shooting work.
According to the reports, Giant music outlet of India, T-series has issued a public notice to the makers of film claiming about the rights of every visual and audio song in the franchise. The notice clearly detailed that music production company T-series is the original holder of all the solo and exclusive songs of franchise.

The notice shared by a local publication said that, “Notice is hear by given to the public in general and film trade in particular that super Cassettes Industries Private Limited (T-Series) is the sole and absolute owner of copyright in relation to the music and audio visual songs i.e. Master Sound Recordings, Literary Works and Musical Works embodied in the Sound Recording, and audio visuals of all the songs for entire world in perpetuity for exploitation on all modes, media and formats in Hindi Language film currently to be released as a franchise of Hera Pheri films. The Music and Audio visual song rights were assigned by Base industries Group to T-series”.
The Main cast finalised for Hera Pheri threequel includes Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. The fister picture of poster showing the old cast together for Hera Pheri 4 shocked as well as surprised the fans on social media.
After many attempts to shoot, finally the camera turned on for Hera Pheri 4 with old and Gold Trio playing Raju, Shyam and Babu Bhaiya with addition of being Sanjay Dutt in an important role.

The story was taken over from the events in Phir Hera Pheri (2006) and planned to release in 2024 but now after the legal notice, shooting stopped and it is delaying the release.
