The famous Zee5 web series named “Barzakh” is already selected for international platform of France’s prestigious film festival. The Jodi got hit from their serial on Hum TV which is already on Netflix for streaming.
The web series Barzakh is the only selection from whole South Asia for international festival this year. The series is selected for various categories in awards, best series, and best actor male as well as female, and best director. It will be screened as the part of international panorama lineup.

The internationally nominated Web series directed by Asim Abbasi “Barzakh” is a blend of realism and emotional touch of supernatural fantasy. Fawad Khan, the handsome man of Pakistani industry is playing the role of single parent with guilt in his life for losing important persons. The opposite lead Sanam Saeed is playing the role of strong character who tries to bring together family and fix the relationships.
The director Asim Abbasi in an interview told that Barzakh is a family drama framed in a very supernatural plot of worldly events. It shows the true impact and causes of fears of personal losses and its effects on psychology of a human being. The selection of our web series in Series Mania of international platform is a very humble moment for all of us because the show is really close to heart. It will be on aired in March on Zee5.

The Producer Sheilja Kejriwal told that series is based on pandemic time when the concept of love, life and death were going through a 180 degree change. It is about the family reunion and importance of family, where people are involved in every occasion of happiness and tragedy.
