Pakistan and Norway agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in multiple spheres especially in higher education, green energy, shipping and blue economy.
Both the countries decided about cooperation in a meeting between Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Norway Anniken Huitfeldt in Oslo.

Both the Ministers appreciated the 75 years of Pakistan-Norway bilateral relations, the two countries agreed on importance of multilateralism to address regional and global challenges.
They also discussed about global and regional challenges including Indian illegaly Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Afghanistan and Ukraine also came up in the meeting.
Cooperation in Development & Trade
Hina Rabbani Khar is taking official visits to Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Belgium to discuss cooperation in development, trade and climate change. The meetings of Khar include members of Europeon Parliament and Senior officials of Europeon Commission.

The Foreign Office said, “She will present Pakistan’s perspective on issues of regional and global importance and interact with leading Europeon decision-makers, experts, think-tanks and influencers.
