Careem issued a press release following the International Women day, announcing the launch of its first, Women driven motorbike service. The service will start from Karachi and then would make its way towards other cities.
Careem announced this service to facilitate its female clients, helping them in using bykea service comfortably with female drivers. It would enable female customers to access affordable yet safe rides in era of high inflation.

In a press release company explained about the service “It also enables and empowers women in Pakistan’s society to access flexible income gathering options and achieve financial stability as captains”. The press release ended with a note of welcoming females to work with company as captains.
The service launched under two models, part time and full time. Part time hours are five hours duty for which careem is offering 30,000 per month and full time is 10 hours duty for which Careem will pay 50,000 per month.
Priority to female captains
In addition to it, Careem is also offering female motor bike captains zero percent commission, bonuses or guarantees as well as it would also prioritize female workers to ensure Careem’s safety and security.
The company explained its motive as commitment to make lives better and build an awesome organization with inspiration. The press release also quoted that women are an integral part of society and constitute a large number of company’s customers.

This initiative of Careem women-driven motorbike will break many stereotypes and help our women in accessing safe reliable and affordable transport. This was the most needed transport in era of such inflation and economic crises Pakistan is facing.
