50 members from 10 different families converted to Islam at Mirpurkhas division. Mohammad Shamroz Khan, son of Minister of Religious Affairs Senator Talha Mehmood attended the ceremony held at local seminary.
According to Qari Taimur Rajput, one of the caretaker of organisation confirmed that 10 families have converted to Islam, they apl willingly converted to Islam and no one has forced them, Rajput told media.

The ceremony of converting them into Muslims was also attended by several local residents. 50 people converted to Islam including 23 females and a one-year-old girl. They all will stay in local facility established for new Muslim converts.
Four-month stay at Facility
All the newly convert Muslims stay at local facility for four-month to learn and study their new religion. Organisation will provide food, shelter, clothes and medicine for all the newly converted Muslims.
Qari Taimur Rajput said that, “We provide all possible support that these people need”. Hundreds of people have been converting to Islam from last five years. He also said that, “We try to convert families as only individual could create issues in peace”.
On the other hand, Hindu activist Faqir Shiva Kucchi expressed his grief and anger over the mass conversions, he raised his voice against the matter and said, “It seems the state itself is involved in these conversions”.

“The conversions in Sindh are a serious issue and instead of taking measures to stop it, the Federal Minister’s son is part of this”. He showed the helplessness of Hindu community as it is the matter of great concern for them.
