Throughout its history, Pakistan has been incredibly fortunate to have access to a variety of outstanding bowlers. The nation has traditionally been proud of its fast-bowling and spin-bowling abilities.
Indeed, this has helped them win at least one of the three ICC tournaments. The greatest Pakistani bowlers of all time are a combination of fast and slow bowlers.
1. Wasim Akram
Wasim Akram was one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of the sport, as well as one of the greatest Pakistani cricketers, coaches, and captains.
He mastered the yorker and reverse swing, two of the most challenging bowling and batting tactics. He is often referred to as the “Sultan Of Swing.” Akram concluded his career with 414 Test wickets in 104 appearances and 502 ODI wickets in 356 appearances.
2. Waqar Younis

Waqar was a master at reverse swing bowling, and his reverse swing yorkers accounted for the dismissal of several batsmen. He captured 373 wickets in 87 Tests and 416 in 262 ODIs.
3. Shahid Khan Afridi
Former Pakistan cricket captain and one of the greatest ODI all-rounders of all time, Shahid Khan Afridi is also the finest Pakistani bowler.
Afridi is the finest cricket player in the world; no one can beat him. He played extremely quickly and predominantly struck sixes and boundaries. In 398 ODIs, he has exhibited a tremendous performance, scoring 8,064 runs at a strike rate of 117 and taking 395 wickets. In Pakistan, Afridi is also known as Boom Boom and Lala.
4. Saqlain Mushtaq
Saqlain Mushtaq, a Pakistani former cricketer and British Pakistani cricket coach, is one of the best spin spinners in Pakistani cricket history.
He is recognized as one of the greatest spin spinners in cricket history. Saqlain captured 208 wickets in 49 test matches and 288 wickets in 169 one-day international matches.
5. Shoaib Akhtar
Shoaib Akhtar is the only name that springs to mind when the terms paced and excellent speedster are mentioned. Controversial, as it should be termed, has a lengthy litany of injuries, infractions, and misbehavior. He is recognized as the fastest bowler in history.
During a 2003 World Cup pool match against England, Shoaib broke the world record by bowling at a pace of 161.3 km/h (102.23 miles per hour). He captured 175 wickets in 46 test matches and 247 wickets in 163 ODIs.
