In a recent major development, Pakistan Muslim League N has decided to remove Miftah Ismail from the party’s office. PML-N not only removed Miftah Ismail but Sindh’s General Secretary as the provincial President is also removed from his place.
The development of removal came just days after Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef told a gathering in Lahore that there is no room for those criticising and backstabbing Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz organiser Maryam Nawaz also said that Miftah Ismail has been very critical to recent government policies which is totally unacceptable. He won’t get any party responsibility in future.
New faces in PML-N
Maryam Nawaz also announced the news of introducing new faces in party while talking to senior leaders of PML-N. She said Miftah Ismail and Shah Muhammad Shah were opted to join other parties. They also did not inform top leadership about other members leaving the party.
Miftah Ismail was constantly and openly criticising Ishaq Dar for current government and economic policies predicting that Pakistan would soon default. Miftah also talked about him following the footsteps of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Miftah Ismail also accused Ishaq Dar of conspiring to ensure his removal from the federal cabinet despite the fact that an overwhelming majority in the party was against his pro-IMF stance.
