Sifan Hassan after crossing the finish line at London Marathon became the greatest female distance runner. She participated in simple sort of running, the art of putting one foot in front of other faster than your rivals.
Three-time Olympic Medalist
Through her chaotic running she got a phenomenal win in Women’s race. Sifan Hassan is a three-time Olympic medalist and two-time world champion on the track. This latest win is one of the World’s six marathon majors.

Sifan Hassan also got injured during the race as she forgot to tie her leg before the starting line. The 30-year-old said that, “I am not greatest, I am just okay. I dont need to become the greatest, I am fine the way I am”.
While talking to media after Marathon she said, “Rather than making a long-term commitment to the marathon, she would test herself over the longer distance and still race on the track this summer”.
The Ethiopian-born Sifan Hassan moved to Netherlands at the age of 15 as refugee, she ranked her victory with three medals at the Tokyo Olympics. She also broke the 23-year-old mile World record in 2019.

She told media that, “I was so scared this morning, I was telling Tim, my coach, Why did I decide to run the Marathon ? What is wrong with me ?”.
