Shoaib Akhtar, former cricketer disassociated himself from making his biopic anymore. When the work on his life story started, he stated it as the dream project of his life but yesterday he tweeted about cancellation of the project.
Shoaib Akhtar tweeted that “I would like to inform you all that after months of careful thinking, I am disassociating myself from film Rawalpindi Express”
He further added that I am sending legal note to film makers to stop doing any work on this project. It was definitely a dream project for me, I tried to stay in the boat but things were not going well in direction. That’s why I am cutting ties with film makers.

Legal action against film makers
Shoaib Akhtar said that he has formally left the project and will take all the legal actions if film makers revoke the rights of personal life story.
The film was scheduled to release on November this year, and it was the first foreign film about any Pakistani cricketer. The director and the whole team was excited about the project and it felt like a dream come true.

Singer-actor Umair Jaswal announced that he will be playing the role of Shoaib Akhtar in his biopic but later on he took it to Instagram and share that he is no more the part of project due to personal reasons.
Shoaib Akhtar’s announcing the cancellation of project seems to be result of controversial issue with the management that he decided to give up on his dream project. The main reason are not revealed yet but netizens are really sad on the news that they will be no more seeing the life of their favorite ex cricketer Shoaib Akhtar from camera lens.
