People Bus Service in Sindh launched its app to provide people ease in getting all the detailed information about fares, opened routes, timings of buses, any shutdown helping people to plan their travel accordingly.
Sindh Mass and Transit Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced the launching of the app. The minister made the announcement while chairing a transport department meeting.

Command & Control Room
The Sindh Transport & Mass Transit Minister also briefed the operation of bus service, all the routes, the ITS and the establishment of a command and control room for helping people of Karachi.
Vehicles will be monitored under the new intelligent transport system, CCTV cameras, audio systems, USB ports, wifi communication system, driver alarms will also be installed in all buses.
The mobile app will also help people in tracking buses in real-time and making payments online, live tracking and monitoring facilities will be activated with yhe installation of ITS in buses.
The app will also help passengers to track the buses, to know where the next bus is and when it is expected to reach the designated station. People will easily pay for the Peoples Bus Service through mobile app through QR code.
The Sindh government launched the app to end the travel troubles of people, plan to connect rural areas of Karachi with this transports service is also under discussion.

The Minister also issued directions to resolve the problem of chargers of electric buses on first hand. Karachi will also get 20 green buses by August 20 and will be inducted into People’s Bus Service.
