President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi has recognised the United Arab Emirates continous efforts to assist Pakistan and providing relief packages for people of Pakistan in times of need.
President of Pakistan mentioned the efforts of United Arab Emirates in providing humanitarian and relief support for people of Pakistan. Pakistan faced serious crises in recent natural disasters and UAE stood firm in helping Pakistan.

Diplomatic award for Consul General of UAE
President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi presented the diplomatic award to Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, Consul General of United Arab Emirates in recognition of UAE’s flood relief packages and aid efforts in country.
The award was presented in a ceremony organised by Saylani International Trust in Karachi. The ceremony was held under Presidenrial Initiative for Artificial Intelligence and Computing. The Governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori also attended the ceremony.
During the event, Pakistan highlighted the UAE’s efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to families suffering in flood. UAE has done a lot of initiatives to provide safe drinking water and mobile health care clinics in flood affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

The Ceremony also paid attention to UAE leadership solidarity to Pakistani people in era of flood and earthquake that disturbed the country. UAE also helped country in combating Covid-19 and its after effects.
