Pakistan secures an eight-wicket victory against India in the U-19 Asia Cup encounter.

In a thrilling match at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, the Pakistan Under-19 squad secured a remarkable eight-wicket triumph over their Indian counterparts in the ACC Under-19s Asia Cup.
Chasing a challenging target set by India at 260 runs, Pakistan’s young cricketers showcased their skills, achieving the victory comfortably in 47 overs with eight wickets in hand.

The wonderful performers from Shahzaib Khan and Azan Awais, who built a solid 110 run partnership and make their team to success.
The Green Shirts got off to a flying start, with Amir Hassan and Mohammad Zeeshan claiming two early wickets, leaving India struggling at 46-2 in just 11.2 overs. Adarsh Singh’s resilient partnership with skipper Uday Saharan provided India with hope. Singh contributed 62 runs before falling victim to Arafat Minhas.

Following Singh’s departure, India lost two quick wickets, but Saharan continued to make crucial runs. Ubaid Shah dismissed him for 60 runs, leaving India at 206-6 in 42.5 overs. Despite the efforts to restrict India to under 230 runs, Sachin Dhas played a pivotal role, scoring a rapid 58 off 32 balls, taking India to a competitive target of 260 runs with two fours and three sixes.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Zeeshan was the star bowler, claiming four wickets, while Amir Hassan and Ubaid Shah secured two wickets each. Pakistan’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss proved effective.
