The event is going on in Expo Centre and more than 100 companies are participating in this expo. Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan Jamal Baker, Shazoor Pharmaceutical Group CEO Mian Asad Shuja ur Rehman, event organizer Kamran Abbasi and people from pharma field attended the event.
Talking to media team, Mr. Baker said that Pakistan is an important candidate in Islamic world, and its pharmaceutical products are acknowledged all around the world. African countries like Ethiopia could be a great market to Pakistan pharma and medical products. He added that we need trust our scientists and medical teams and acknowledge our products at country level also.

New trends in Domestic Pharma industry
The event organizer Kamran Abbasi told that this expo will help the domestic industry in adopting new standards same as in developed countries. He added that these kind of events should be held after every three months to help manufacturers as well as scientists.
He said that companies would work on pharmaceutical and laboratory instruments, raw and packaging supplies, chemicals for laboratories and other useful items necessary for pharmacies and hospitals.
He added that this expo is specially designed for equipment’s such as ultrasound, MRI machines, X-ray, and cardiac monitors. There are 250 different stalls in the exhibition including products from China, South Korea, and Thailand.

The two day event is being organized by Prime event Management. Dr. Javed Akram, caretaker Punjab health minister also attended the exhibition as Chief Guest.
