As a result of the fuel cost adjustment (FCA), the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has given its approval for K-Electric (KE) customers to get a decrease in the power rate of Rs7.43 per unit beginning in November 2022.
Following the conclusion of the public hearing
That was held to assess the monthly fuel adjustment (MFA) on a petition that was submitted by the Central Power Purchasing Agency-Guarantee, the reduction in tariff was granted approval.
According to Nepra’s estimates, the move will save the country’s electricity customers a total of 10.61 billion rupees.

Customers who rely on K-Electric for their lifeline will be exempt from the rate rise.
