IMF Is seeking the help of prominent political parties, PTI Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf , Pakistan Muslim League PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party PPP for currently announced 3$ billion bailout program.
President of Esther Perez Ruiz, said that the meetings with political parties seek surety of their support. Yet the confirmation of leading political parties PML-N and PPP is still under debate.

Its a great effort to stabilize the economy and implement necessary reforms. However, the success of the program will depend on the cooperation and support of key political parties in Pakistan.
SBA from IMF pulled out Pakistan from getting default by giving much needed financial relief. The final meeting regarding this matter is scheduled on July 12.
PTI confirmed meeting with IMF
Yet Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) confirmed its meeting with IMF team, with former finance minister Hammad Azhar. He announced through Twitter that party’s economic team has been approached by IMF for support and to finalise loan agreement.
Moreover Imran Khan will personally participate in discussion both in person and virtually, as he promised at Zaman Park.
However, the successful implementation of the program will heavily rely on securing political support and ensuring the cooperation of all major political parties in the country.

The outcome of the meetings with the PML-N and PPP will be crucial in determining the level of political consensus and support for the IMF’s bailout program in Pakistan.
