Federal Administration Headed by Prime Minister
Ahead of a potentially protracted march by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Islamabad, the senior leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has thrown its support behind the federal administration headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The PTI’s lengthy march plan was referred to as a “plot” against the state at a meeting of party leaders presided over by PM Sharif, and it was resolved that the government will thwart its plans using the force of the law, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office. The PML-N leaders concurred, saying, “It would not be a political long march of PTI, but a march for a conspiracy,” and they fully empowered Prime Minister Sharif to take the necessary action to address the issue.
An International Conspiracy
It was also agreed that those accused of manipulating the cypher would be made examples of by the authorities. Imran Khan’s “deceitful narrative” that the previous administration was overthrown due to “an international conspiracy” had been revealed, according to the conference, by recent leaks of allegedly informal discussions of the PTI leader.

The attendees encouraged PM Sharif to speed up and rationally conclude the investigation being done into the “cypher plan.”
PM Sharif had earlier attacked the former PM during a news conference in Islamabad, accusing him of “treason against the state and the country by constructing a deceptive narrative of conspiracy” against the current coalition and the state institutions.
Mr. Khan’s Allegations of Plot
When asked about Mr. Khan’s allegations of a plot, the prime minister responded, “It was treason done against the nation and not less than that.”
The premier said that the apparent use of the diplomatic cable for political gain by Mr. Khan had severely harmed Pakistan’s relations with friendly nations in a statement regarding the conversation between former PM Imran and his former principal secretary Azam Khan that was revealed through a leak.
“Everything is revealed in the audio. Is it a secret who created the conspiracy? It was Imran Khan and his associates,” he claimed, noting that the coalition administration was working to mend Imran Khan’s harm to relations with foreign nations.
