Google is in talks with news organizations to use the Artificial Intelligence tools to assist journalists in writing news articles. The technology will help journalists in enhancing their work and productivity.
It will help journalists and news writers with options for headlines or different writing styles in blogs and articles. Google is in the earliest stages of exploring ideas for using technology in the journalism field.

The Google Spokesperson said, “Quite simply these tools are not intended to, and cannot, replace the essential role journalists have in reporting, creating, and fact-checking their articles”.
The AI tool that was pitched is called Genesis internally at Google. The news worker however declined to comment on the AI tool saying, “We have an excellent relationship with Google, and we appreciate Sundar Pichai’s long-term commitment to journalism”.
The Associated Press also said that it would partnership with ChatGPT owner to explore more uses of Artificial Intelligence in news.

Some of the news outlets are already working with generative AI for content making, the news publications have been working to adopt the technology to generate factual information challenging human and computer power.
