Najam Sethi, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board cleared all the talks about peril of Babar Azam as captain. He said that, “Babar Azam’s call to leave captaincy”. But still it is his own decision whether to continue as a captain or not.
He said that power all lies with Babar Azam himself and his decision. We will all support him in his decision aboht retaining captain duties or not, there will be no pressure on our brilliant player.

Najam Sethi added that Babar is our brilliant player in all matches format, he is a top star. There is no threat on him regarding captaincy. It is totally his decision, if he wants to leave captaincy of any one format or all three formats to remain captain in all, it will totally be his call.
Youngsters against Afghanistan
Najam Sethi appreciated Babar Azam that he supported the decision of PCB to select young players for Afghanistan squad. Captain Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been rested for Afghanistan series while Shadab Khan is chosen as the captain for thee-match T20 series to be played in Afghanistan.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi also warns the players about keeping their behavior and body language in checking regarding last year controversy between Asif Ali and Afghani player.

He advised all the players of Pakistani Cricket Team to stay calm during matches and avoid any kind of issue. All the players should only focus on good match and keeping the morale high.
