Aryan Khan Case: All you need to know

The NCB’s raid on a luxury ship has shaken the Bollywood core as Aryan Khan – Shah Rukh Khan’s son – was arrested in connection with a drugs case on Sunday.

Currently, Aryan is being interrogated jointly along with his friend Arbaaz Seth Merchantt, from whom a meagre amount of cocaine was procured.

In a major setback to the star family, Aryan Khan’s NCB custody has been extended till October 7.

It merits a mention that no drugs were procured from him during the rave party on October 2 (Saturday).

Star actor Shah Rukh Khan had to take NCB’s permission for a brief meeting with his son, and the 24-year-old Aryan reportedly cried before his father.

Amid the ongoing investigation, actress Sherlyn Chopra has shared her old interview in which she had claimed that wives of Bollywood stars had snorted cocaine at Kolkata Knight Rider’s party, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.

“When I got tired and started to sweat while dancing, I went to the washroom. Just as I opened the door, what I saw shocked me. There the stars’ wives who were standing in front of the mirror and snorting a white powder, which we call cocaine,” Sherlyn had said. Her interview followed Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

After the operation, the NCB said that it had recovered 21 gm Charas, 22 MDMA Ecstasy pills, 13 gm Cocaine, 5 gm Mephedrone, besides Rs 133,000 cash.

India is currently gripped by the arrests of two young men – both sons of powerful fathers.

The first is Aryan Khan, and the second is Ashish Mishra – who is the son of India’s junior home minister. Mishra is accused of ordering his driver to run his vehicle into a group of protesting farmers, causing deaths and injuries.

Both Mishra and Khan have denied the allegations against them.
