US Pop Icon Taylor Swift
On Friday, US pop icon Taylor Swift released her 10th studio album Midnights along with new songs recorded while the album was being prepared.
The 13-track album, according to the 32-year-old singer-songwriter, is “a collage of intensity, highs, and lows, and ebbs and flows.”
“Life can be dark, starry, overcast, terrifying, exhilarating, hot, cold, romantic, or lonely,” she said in the Instagram post.
Taylor’s Swift Favorite Song
While describing the album’s lead single, “Anti-Hero,” as one of her favorite songs she has ever written and one that delves into her vulnerabilities, Swift claimed she first heard the term “Lavender Haze” while watching the television series Mad Men about being in love.

Taylor Swift likes Sharing her Creative Process
While Midnights is a concept album “about the intensity of that bewildering, mad hour,” the “Shake It Off” and “Bad Blood” singer also revealed on Instagram overnight that she likes sharing her creative process with fans and has released more tracks that weren’t included on the record.
Swift, who has received 11 Grammy Awards, has achieved chart-topping success with her most recent albums, including the two unexpected releases of Folklore and Evermore that she made during the Covid-19 pandemic.
