Abrar-ul-Haq calls out Karan Johar for copying his song

Renowned singer, Abrar ul Haq took to his official Twitter handle to call out Dharma Movies and Karan Johar for stealing his music without seeking permission.

Dharma Productions dropped the trailer of their latest production Jug jugg Jeeyo on their social media account on Sunday. The trailer has ‘shamelessly copied the Billo crooner’s iconic song Nach Punjaban.

I have not sold my song “ Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all.@DharmaMovies @karanjohar

Amid all of this, the singer of the original song shared his sentiments.
