Pakistan and United Arab Emirates decided to start a project under partnership naming Plasma Farming Initiative. The Ministry of National Health Services (NHS) announced that Plasma Farming Facility will be opened in Islamabad in cooperation with UAE.
A member of Dubai’s Ruling family Ahmed Bin Dalmook Bin Juma Al Makhtoum and Chief Operations Officer of Hayat BioTech’s Naser Ali Khameis Alyammahi also visited Pakistan to discuss about health, researches, vaccines and medical facilities.

Sheikh Makhtoum also inaugurated a coordination office at Regional Blood Centre Islamabad. The aim of this coordination centre is to create close ties with Ministry of Health and UAE cooperation Centre.
Investment Opportunities in Health Sector
United Arab Emirates group also met Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef, Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel and other officials to discuss about opportunities and investment in health sector especially vaccine development and phasmapheresis.
As per World Health Organization Standards, the UAE delegation expressed its keen interest in investing for Plasma Farming in Pakistan. The blood facilities in Pakistan are only available in Pakistan in blood banks of hospitals with no proper process.
This Plasma Farming Initiative will help in solving critical blood issues and clear the process of separation between plasma processes as well as production and utilization of blood according to needs.
Minister of Health Abdul Qadir Patel appreciated the efforts of United Arab Emirates and mentioned the importance of this collaboration between two brotherly countries. Health sector is most important sector of any country and UAE is doing really well in this sector.

The cooperation of Pakistan and UAE in health sector will bring immense relief to people of Pakistan. It would help in solving many crucial health issues and blood supply, production and utilization is one of it.
