Axact and Bol TV CEO Shoaib Sheikh is arrested as he offered bribes to session judges on cases of fake degrees. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested Shoaib Ahmad Sheikh from Islamabad airport
Shoaib Ahmad Sheikh was arrested from Islamabad when he landed from a flight of Karachi in charges of bribing a session judge for his acquittal in fake degree case. He is also charged with bribing Additional District and Session Judge Pervez Ul Qadir Memon.

He bribed the judge to get favourable remarks in the Axact fake degree case. In 2017, Additional District and Session Judge Pervez Ul Qadir submitted the report that he had received Rs 5 million to give favour for Axact CEO in the fake degree cases.
The Islamabad High Court dismissed the Judge after he confessed of taking bribes and ordered Federal Investigation Authority to arrest all the persons involved in bribery case. After that FIA has summoned Shoaib Sheikh in many cases of offering bribe to senior officials.
Anti Corruption Circle
An inquiry into matter has also been registered in Anti Corruption Circle in Islamabad following the orders from Islamabad High Court. According to First Investigation Report (FIR) a complaint has been filed against Shoaib Sheikh for being a beneficiary of 5 million transaction under PCA 1947.
Earlier in 2015, FIA arrested Shoaib Sheikh in the case of hundreds and thousands of forged degrees and students ID cards found in the office of Axact company in Karachi headquarters.
The footage of 2015 raid showed copies and templates of hundreds of degrees from different universities of Pakistan. The NewYork times also reported about the case saying that Axact is running a worldwide black business of fake diplomas and degrees from the secret office in Pakistan.

A money laundering case was also registered against Shoaib Sheikh and Axact company but later he was released on bail.
