A local court of Islamabad F/8 approved two day physical remand of former Federal Minister of PTI, Fawad Chohdary. The Lahore police arrested Fawad Chohdary from his house on Wednesday morning and moved him to Islamabad on court orders. Islamabad police took him to court where he got two day physical remand.
The investigation officer requested eight days remand but the duty magistrate rejected the request and reduce it to two-day remand. PTI lawyers requested court to remove handcuffs of Fawad Chohdary but he asked court not to do this. Fawad Chohdary said that I am lawyer of Supreme Court and I want to talk for my family and lawyers for 10 minutes.

He said that it is unfortunate that we are fighting over revenge with each other in politics, case against should be dismiss against him otherwise there will be no more free speech remaining in Pakistan.
A large number of PTI workers and lawyers were also present outside the court. While 1500 police personnel were deployed to avoid any incident. The opposite lawyer told the court that Fawad Chohdary threaten the families of ECP members and PTI leader was promoting hatred against institution.
The ECP lawyer demanded strict action against Fawad Chohdary, as he is accused of sedition against higher authorities of ECP. Fawad Chohdary responded that I am grateful that they have added sedition charges against me, now I am included in great leaders like Nelson Mandela and Abdul Kalam Azad.
The PTI leader said that, if the case against him continues, there will be no more criticism right for Pakistani citizen. He added that he was not doing any speech against ECP, it was just a media talk in which his words are misquoted.

Another issue against Fawad Chohdary
The Election Commission of Pakistan has also decided to issue another notice against Fawad Chohdary. Mr. Chohdary gave warning that if ECP will continue to target PTI leaders, then it will face the music through its families.
The ECP also issued defamation case against Fawad Chohdary for threatening senior officials of election commission of Pakistan.
