Wicketkeeper-Batsman for India
Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper-batsman for India, claimed that facing Pakistan gives him chills and that it is “a different type of emotion” than playing any other side.
The Twenty20 World Cup begins on Sunday, and the two teams square off at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in a highly anticipated match.
Tickets for the event, which is expected to have a carnival feel, have been bought up by some 100,000 fans, yet the party may not go off without rain.
Playing against Pakistan
Playing against Pakistan is always unique because there is a certain buzz surrounding that match, Pant said on Friday to the official World Cup website.
“We, the fans, and everyone else are experiencing a lot of emotions.”
“When you enter the field and begin play, you see spectators cheering here and there, which creates a different vibe and atmosphere.”
“I truly feel chills when we sing our national song. It’s a different mood.”

Strengthen their Middle Order
Since he appears to be competing with seasoned wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik for the position, Pant is not guaranteed to play, but he may still be used as a specialist batsman if the selectors decide to strengthen their middle order.
On Star Sports, Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar expressed his opinion that both players might be accommodated.
He explained that Pant might not be able to get a spot if they elect to use six bowlers, with Hardik Pandya as the sixth bowler.
Rishabh Pant and Karthik
Rishabh Pant and Karthik might bat at numbers six and seven, respectively, if they choose to go with Hardik Pandya as a fifth bowler, before the four bowlers.
If chosen, Pant said he will consult Virat Kohli for guidance.
It’s beneficial to bat beside someone who has a lot of experience because he can teach you how to approach the game and how to keep up that run-a-ball pressure, according to him.
