‘Do Not Paralyze Them’
Under the motto “Do not paralyze them,” and with the help of UAE and Pakistani volunteer doctors in the Emirates Medical Relief Program, Emirates Field Hospital has established mobile clinics to provide diagnostic, curative, and preventive services for children, women, and the elderly affected by floods in Sindh province in Pakistan.
These clinics are run by the UAE Embassy in Islamabad and the Consulate General in Karachi.
Zayed’s Giving Initiative
As part of Zayed’s global humanitarian campaigns and in accordance with the directives of our wise leadership, the Emirates Field Hospital began operating mobile clinics at its current station in the Sindh region. These clinics provide care and treatment services in accordance with the best medical standards, of the highest calibre, to those who have been affected by floods and torrents.
The CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative, President of the Emirates Doctors, and Director of the Emirates Medical Relief Team, Dr. Adel Al-Shamry Al-Ajmi, an Emirati cardiac surgeon, confirmed that the mobile clinics for children, women, and the elderly are outfitted with the most up-to-date medical technology and include mobile units specially made in accordance with safety standards.

Presence in Flood-Affected Areas
He stated that under the direction of the doctors from the UAE and Pakistan who were volunteers in the UAE Medical Relief Program and with the participation of nursing, technical, and administrative teams working in the spirit of one team, members of the medical teams were able to provide distinguished free services to those affected by the floods in their locations.
Imran Muhammad Abdullah, a member of the Dar Al Ber Society Board of Directors, confirmed that the Emirati and Pakistani medical teams’ presence in flood-affected areas has contributed significantly to treating thousands of needy people, especially needy groups, and providing free medicine, making them a model to be proud of in the field of specialised health humanitarian work.
Diseases Being Treated
In order to treat patients suffering from dehydration, pneumonia, gastroenteritis, malaria, and other infectious diseases that spread in areas with stagnant water, Pakistani health teams collaborated with the Emirates Field Hospital’s mobile clinics, according to Sultan Al Khayal, Secretary General of the Sharjah Charity House Foundation; Dr. Mumtaz Al Balushi, Director of Pakistan Doctors, praised the clinics’ innovative work.
