Gilgit-Baltistan government jobs

The announcement by Chief Minister Amjad Hussain Advocate about the creation and filling of more than 10,000 jobs in different government departments has provided a big boost to Gilgit-Baltistan government jobs. The announcement came at a public meeting in Skardu and reflected the regional government’s push to create jobs and better public services.

Gilgit-Baltistan Government Jobs Bring Over 10,000 Opportunities

The hiring spree is set to create opportunities for educated youth and empower government departments across the region. The Chief Minister has clarified that the selection process will remain transparent and merit-based, and fair opportunities will be provided to deserving candidates.

The government has directed its departments to identify vacancies and upload them for transparent recruitment. The information will help to activate the Gilgit-Baltistan Testing Service (GBTS) for an organised recruitment mechanism and improve accountability at every step of the selection process.

The initiative is a major step forward to strengthen public institutions and also to create job opportunities in the northern part of Pakistan. Transparency in testing can also build confidence for applicants and ensure recruitment decisions are based on qualifications and merit.

Healthcare And Regional Development Also Get Attention

The plan also includes the announcement of wider recruitment and hiring of more than 50 doctors under the Special Pay Scale (SPS) scheme in Diamer. The step is likely to enhance healthcare services and meet the staffing needs of a significant area of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Talks are also being held with WAPDA regarding more jobs, including police recruitment and district-wise allocations.
