The United States Mission to Pakistan announced Tuesday the expansion of interview waiver eligibility at the US Consulate General in Karachi and the US Embassy in Islamabad for certain applicants of F (student) visas, H (temporary worker visas), J (exchange visitor) visas in academic programs, and non-blanket L (intracompany transferee) visas.
Pakistani citizens who previously held US visas are eligible to use this program. Expanding interview waiver eligibility in the aforementioned categories will provide better customer service and assist in the efficient and timely processing of visas for qualified Pakistani citizens. The decision was announced via a press release issued by the US Embassy in Islamabad.
