UAE’s ‘Birds of Goodness’ Airdrops Deliver Over 2,000 Tonnes of Aid to Gaza

In a recent announcement from the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence, it was revealed that the “Birds of Goodness” mission has completed its 32nd successful airdrop operation. This time, a whopping 87 tonnes of humanitarian aid and Eid clothing were delivered to the people in northern Gaza. This Operation involved five Aircraft.  This mission includes two C17s from the United Arab Emirates UAE Air Force and two C295s and one C130 aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force.

The aid dropped from the sky consisted of essential food items and special Eid clothing parcels for families. These Parcels were filled with Clothes, Toys, Sweets and Various different products for everyone in the Gaza family. The main Goal of this Mission was to bring Joy, Happiness and Hope to the Palestinian people in Gaza during the Eid Al Fitr celebrations. World is celebrating and enjoying Eid ul Fitr and the people of Palestine are suffering badly. This effort is made to ease their difficulties.

The targeted areas for these airdrops were the isolated regions in northern Gaza, which are hard to reach by land. Since the launch of the “Birds of Goodness” initiative, a remarkable total of 2025 tonnes of food and relief supplies have been delivered. When combined with the aid sent through land shipments via the Kerem Shalom crossing, the total aid sent by the UAE to northern Gaza has surpassed 2395 tonnes.

This mission is a part of Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3,” whose main Aim is to provide Support to the Palestinian people in Gaza in difficult times.  The United Arab Emirates UAE is demonstrating its commitment to helping those in need and making a positive impact on the lives of the people in Gaza during challenging times. They are Utilizing both Land shipments and Airdrops to help Gaza and provide them humanitarian Aid.
