Two-day International Parliamentary Convention started

The Two-day international Parliamentary Convention kicks off at the National Assembly Hall in Islamabad to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Constitution of Pakistan. Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf presides over the opening session.

Political leaders, legal experts, students, people from civil society, social activists, youth and minorities representatives are all attending the event. People from more than 17 countries including Sri Lanka, Kenya, Lebanon, Oman, Tajikistan and Kirghizstan are participating in the convention.

Speakers from Saudi Arabia

The Deputy Speakers, Speakers and Chairman of Parliaments from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Belgium, Iran and Azerbaijan will also participate in the convention to share their thoughts and opinions.

The live broadcast of transmission will be running from Radio Pakistan’s News and Current Affairs Channel. The opening session from National Assembly Hall will go live as International Parliamentary Convention.
