The Kerala Story on first day of its release earned Rs 8.03 crore, and the very next day film got Rs 12.50 crore with growth of over 50% from box office collection. The Kerala Story had an overall 36% of occupancy in Hindi Film Market.

Not only, it is the talk of town due to huge box office collection but the film was highly criticized for alleged factual inaccuracies and even received poor reviews by critics, due to having a different tale.
Cast and Storyline of Film
The film is starring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idhani and Sonia Balani, the story is defined as factual representation of more than 32,000 Kerala women who’d allegedly been radicalized by Islamic fundamentalists.
After the release of film, an online protest is also started against its fake storyline and misinformation being spread by the film.
