Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, the 10-time Rome champion is currently suffering with leg injury that he got at the Austrlian Open in January. Rafael Nadal owns 69-8 record in Rome.
The 36-year old has not played any of the match after falling in the second round of the Australian Open.

Nadal Announcement about Withdrawl
Rafael Nadal announced, “Hello Everyone ! I am sorry to announce that I won’r be able to play in Rome”. He wrote on his social media that, “You all know how much it hurts me to miss another of the tournaments that has been so important to me, both professionally and personally, because of all affection and support of the Italian fans”.
He added, “Despite having noticed an improvement in the last few days, it has been many months since I have been able to train at a high level and the adaptation process takes time. All that is left for me to do is accept it and keep working. Best wishes to everyone”.

Rafael Nadal won a trio of titles and maintained his 17-match winning streak. He last won the Rome title in 2021 and boasts a 69-8 event record.
